All prospective students wishing to apply to our college should make sure that they met the following criteria before applying.

Applicants must have at least 5 credits in the relevant subjects in their SSCE results obtained in not more than two sittings

1.A minimum of five (5) subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the principal or advanced level of the G.C.E. and the others, at credit level of the SSCE/GCEO/Level; no subject shall be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced Levels;
2. Acceptable level of passes in two major subjects at the NCE with SSCE O/Level credits or equivalent in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses). Education may be accepted as a third A/Level subject for those taking courses in Education;
3. Acceptable level of passes in two subjects at the IJMB examination or Cambridge moderated school of Basic Studies terminal examination or International Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCEO/Level credits or equivalent in three other subjects;
4.Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with at least a Lower Credit Pass from recognized institutions , or
5.HND passed at not less than lower credit from a recognized institution
IJMB, NCE and DIPLOMA.
Any one of the following qualifications is admissible for the three-year Education degree programmes. Five Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) which must include Mathematics, English Language, any relevant subject and two of which must be at the Advanced Level in any of the following:
1.A pass at merit level in a relevant Diploma Programme (provided the O/L requirements are satisfied).
2. Two passes in relevant subject areas at Advanced level.
3.Passes in two major subjects in relevant areas in NCE.
4.Two passes at the IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) examination or Cambridge Moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examinations or International Baccalaureate from a recognized institution.
4.or B.Ed. (Technology) Programme, holders of NCE, City and Guilds as well as OND and NBC/NTC Certificates, may be admitted.
1.Five O'level credit passes in Arts and Sciences including English Language and Mathematics.
2.Use of English and any 3 Arts, Social Science or Science Subjects.
3.The candidate must have scored not less than the Joint Admission and Matriculation exam (JAMB) cut off marks.
1.Merit pass in Ordinary Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from any recognized institution.
2.Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with merit and above in Education and the Teaching subjects.
1.Candidates are required to obtain five credits at G.C.E. O’ Level or SSCE, NECO or NABTEB, in Science-base subjects which must include Mathematics, Physics and English plus any other two from Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography and Further Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
Candidates must meet the O'Level requirements in (i) above with one of the following additional qualifications:
1.A'level GCE, IJMB with good passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry:
2.Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or National Certificate in Education (NCE) in Mathematics or Computer Science with a minimum of lower credit from a recognized NBTE accredited polytechnic. Candidates who meet these requirements are admitted into the 200 level.
